I wrote this poem after feeling that I wasn't getting
back from a relationship what I should.
I can just hear this being sung by some young
girl singer.
Tell me what you think if you will. I would like to

GET YOUR PLAN IN GEAR
When I go to bed at night,
Without a feeling that you might
Just call to hear my voice.
It seems you are not the choice.
When I call you on the phone,
And you never come on strong
What’s the matter baby?
Don’t want me for your lady?
Get your plan in gear
For I need to make this clear
I will not wait forever
When I think that it will be never.
Don’t play with my mind
Cause I don’t have the time
To sit and wait
Just for your sake.
